m4h and IQLS have partnered on several health facilities projects. For example in the West African Region, m4h works with IQLS in strengthening epidemiological surveillance.
IQLS’ focus is on the capacity development of laboratories worldwide through standardised evaluations and audits, development of improvement plans, dedicated training modules, Quality Assurance programmes, Proficiency Testing, data and record management, IT solutions for laboratories and supplies management.
IQLS has a strong expertise in the field of laboratory assessment and appraisal including:
- Development of comprehensive, computerised laboratory assessment tools
- Development of graphical and geographical (GIS display, maps) reporting tools
- Proposition of simple, practical and appropriate remedial/corrective actions after appraisal including planning and costing of laboratory development
- IT tools and database for laboratories development, including assessment database.
