Last week’s heavy Russian air attack on #Ukraine is another reminder that, every day and night, people there sustain life-changing injuries. Long-term treatment and #rehabilitation place enormous demands on the country’s healthcare system — and German institutions continue to play a key role in supporting it.
Through the current @management4health mission, we are working on a project supported and coordinated by the Ukrainian Social Investment Fund @USIF and the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau @KfW to define programmatic measures for supporting the reconstruction and/or modernization of integrated rehabilitation centres across Ukraine.
Our team Dr. Marc Zoller (Team Leader / Medical Expert) and Shokhrukh Kurbanov (Senior Project Manager / Medical Equipment Specialist) recently successfully completed an on-site assessment mission in Lviv and the Lviv region. Thereafter, the team continued to Kyiv to present the mission’s findings to USIF Management — a key milestone for the Pre-Feasibility Study being delivered under this project for Rehabilitation Centres in Ukraine.
