Basma Amarir holds a bachelor’s in financial management and marketing from HEM business school as well as a master’s in marketing and Trade from the University IAE de Lyon. During her studies she was also the founder & president of a student association (Junior Compétences HEM) which offers an early outlook on employment to students since they carried out several projects and studies on behalf of private and public entities.
She started her professional career working in the field of development cooperation with a focus on project management and business development. Before she joined management4health in 2017, she worked for GIZ International Services in Morocco. This led her to develop a profound knowledge of the Maghreb region and in particular, of the institutional context of the Kingdom of Morocco. Due to this, she is mainly involved in business development activities and implementation of projects in this region. Additionally, she has also worked for projects in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia and is experienced in the guidelines and procedures of various development partners (e.g. KfW, GIZ, EU, ADB).
At management4health, Basma works as project manager and is responsible for the identification, preparation and implementation of projects, as well as liaising and cooperating with partners and experts for these projects.
