Introduction:
management4health AG (m4h) is a consulting and management company working in the field of global health. Areas of expertise include: a) support to health systems reforms including healthcare financing schemes; b) improving health service delivery for better quality in terms of effectiveness and efficiency of both primary and referral level care; c) developing / modernizing health and social infrastructure including aspects of environmental protection / climate change mitigation; and d) digital health and innovation. Current growth areas include cross-sectoral projects and programs considering the linkages between health and environment, education, gender and nutrition.
Our multi-national and multi-cultural team located in Frankfurt am Main is looking forward to welcoming a growth- and learning-oriented Health Services Planner (m/f/d) to strengthen our healthcare planning team.
Education requirements:
- Experienced Medical Professional
- Post-graduate qualification in Public Health, Hospital / Health Service Planning, Healthcare Management or similar
- Additional training / certificates in relevant topics (i. e. quality of care, clinical pathways, healthcare financing, hospital financial management, etc.) would be an advantage
Language requirements:
- English: mandatory
- French: strongly preferred
- German: additional advantage
Experience requirements:
- Work in hospital settings in clinical/medical and/or managerial position
- Planning of healthcare services (needs assessment, demand analysis) and application of related planning tools ideally combined with multi-country experience
- Knowledge and understanding of global health aspects including demographic and epidemiological trends
- Working with architects / engineers on hospital / master planning and design for individual facilities as well as extended health service delivery networks would be an advantage
Additional / transferable skills and areas of interest:
- Knowledge of the economics of health care delivery
- Interest in working in the context of international development cooperation with international agencies / financing institutions
- Strong presentation and writing skills
- Availability to frequent travels to project countries
