Real-time identification, geo-mapping and tracking of confirmed or suspected COVID-19 cases is essential for the effective and timely management of the pandemic. With CoronALERT management4health has developed an epidemiological surveillance and alert system that is able to monitor in real-time the status of the epidemic at different geographical levels, be it in the whole country, in a district or in a town / city. CoronALERT tracks and maps patients reported at health facilities, border crossings or quarantine locations, and allows also to map total and available ICU capacities of each reporting hospital, thereby helping the national authorities in efficiently manage and allocate resources. Important: CoronALERT is compatible with any system already in use, such as DHIS-2.
