Dominik Horrion joined management4health in 2015 after graduating University in International Studies and Peace and Conflict Studies. His education included two internships with KfW Development Bank, hence, from the start he was responsible predominantly for projects funded by the German Financial Cooperation.
At m4h, Dominik’s work focuses on three core areas : In business development, he is primarily responsible for coordinating bid processes for various clients. Through this work, he has gained an excellent understanding of the compliance and procurement requirements of different contracting authorities. Ensuring compliance with such requirements also demands a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, often under significant time pressure—skills that distinguish him professionally.
Furthermore, he has managed over 20 short- and long-term projects in a leading role as project manager. In addition, as a subject-matter expert, he currently supports project partners in the procurement of construction services in Kyrgyzstan and Nepal, as well as in the procurement of goods in Nepal and South Africa. He was also involved in a procurement process for a health insurance fund manager in Pakistan.
Besides working as SME in Procurement, Dominik also supports m4h’s clients in fund administration, in particular in compliance with the German Financial Cooperation Guidelines. In South Africa, Dominik has advised the Project Executing Agency on managing and reporting on a 27 million Euro Disposition Fund through which the Project Funds were disbursed.
He consistently maintains professional relationships with project partners, clients, and implementing professionals. His strong communication skills are a key asset in all his activities. Beyond his core responsibilities, he actively contributes to corporate development, particularly in internal quality management and process improvement.
