World Water Day is celebrated on 22 March every year. It is raising awareness and fighting the water crisis. In 2017, more than 500 million people do not have a safe water supply close to their home, increasing the risk of health problems due to the use of contaminated water.
In the framework of the Programme to support the water sector reform, in DR Congo, funded by GIZ, m4h and WASH United team took advantage of the International Women’s Day celebration to increase awareness of the benefit of clean and safe drinkable water. Whereas, on March 22, the team will support the inter-university competition based on knowledge of water law.
